The cut-e battery measures processing speed under interference. Individually the modules look easy: read a table, watch some dials, tap when two symbols match. What they measure is what happens to your accuracy when the pace is set for you and a second task is running alongside the first.

cut-e, now part of Aon, publishes a battery of very short interactive assessment modules rather than one long test. A typical sitting combines two or three modules of six to twelve minutes each — for example numerical, verbal and deductive logic, or monitoring and multitasking for operational roles.
cut-e modules are shorter, faster and often interactive. Instead of reading a table and choosing an option, you may be monitoring drifting dials, responding to arriving objects, or steering an aircraft. Speed frequently feeds the score directly rather than only bounding it.
Yes, and the interactive modules are where practice matters most — monitoring, multitasking, reaction speed and spatial orientation cannot be prepared for by reading about them. cut-e generates items from banks, so memorising questions is worthless, but rehearsing the interface and the pacing is not.
They are cut-e module codes. Broadly, scales cls covers numerical or verbal data handling in cut-e's interrogate-the-dataset format, scales eql covers applied numeracy, and scales lst covers deductive logic in the grid format. Employers usually name the modules in the invitation email.
Each module runs roughly six to twelve minutes, and most invitations combine two to four modules, so a complete sitting is commonly 20 to 45 minutes including instructions.
