Airline selections run the cut-e modules that cannot be prepared for by reading: dials to monitor, tasks to juggle, an aircraft to steer. Practise them as interfaces, not as PDFs — because that is how they are served.
Free to start. Every item is generated fresh, marked with a full worked solution, and ranked on a 1–9 stanine band that recalibrates as more candidates practise.

easyJet
cut-e (Aon) styleOnline battery frequently reported for cadet and rated pathways: divided attention, numerical, personality questionnaire.
Ryanair
cut-e (Aon) styleOnline aptitude screening reported via approved training partners, followed by interview and a simulator assessment.
Wizz Air
cut-e (Aon) styleOnline tests reported for cadet programmes and direct entry: multitasking, numerical, spatial.
Vueling
cut-e (Aon) stylecut-e style online battery reported at pre-selection, before the in-person stages.
British Airways
cut-e (Aon) styleOnline aptitude tests reported for the Speedbird Pilot Academy and pilot recruitment.
Aer Lingus
cut-e (Aon) styleOnline tests reported for cadet programmes — attention and numerical formats.
Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian)
DLR selectionCadet selection through the DLR process — its own battery. Divided-attention, mental-arithmetic and spatial training transfers directly.
Air France
in-house processSelection through the airline's own psychotechnic tests. The exercise families — attention, multitasking, numeracy — train with the same reflexes.
Gulf carriers (Emirates, Qatar Airways…)
online batteriesOnline aptitude assessments reported depending on the pathway, including COMPASS-style screening on some cadet routes.
Candidate reports, not an official list. Persona Prep is not affiliated with any airline or test publisher; we train the exercise families, not leaked papers.
What it measures
Pilot batteries measure capacity under divided attention: can you keep a count while dials drift, hold three tasks at once without one collapsing, react only to true matches, keep your bearings when the reference frame rotates, and fly a clean line while the speed climbs. None of that is knowledge. All of it trains, and the training only transfers when it happens in the same kind of interface.
The format
Where marks are lost
Arriving interface-blind. Candidates with strong raw aptitude lose to weaker candidates who have simply held these interfaces before: the first minutes of a monitoring or multitasking module go to discovering the controls, and those minutes are scored like all the others. Familiarity is the cheapest points you will ever buy.
Why practise here
All five flight-deck style modules built as live interfaces — monitoring, multitasking, reaction speed, spatial orientation, flight challenge
A stanine rank per module so you can see which one drags the battery down before an airline sees it
Timing, pacing and frame caps set to match how the real modules feel, not a slideshow about them
Unlimited runs — the modules generate fresh, so practice never runs out
Two exercises free to judge the fidelity before paying anything
Where you will meet it
Hiring stages where this format is commonly used. Persona Prep is not affiliated with Aon and does not reproduce their questions — we build practice in the same format, from our own generators.
With Persona Prep Pro
One subscription covers the whole assessment library, not just this exercise — because almost nobody is invited to sit only one module.
The full aptitude library
SHL Verify, Aon cut-e, Hogan and Saville formats — numerical, verbal, inductive, deductive, mechanical, checking and the interactive modules.
A rank, not just a score
Every run is placed on a 1–9 stanine band that recalibrates as the candidate pool grows, so you know your position.
A course per exercise
What it measures, the trap that costs marks, and worked items from every format — then the exercise itself.
Unlimited fresh items
Everything is generated, so you never run out and never memorise a bank.
Written + voice AI coach
Reads your results across exercises and tells you which two to fix first.
Personality practice too
SHL OPQ32, Hogan HPI/HDS/MVPI, Saville Wave, ADEPT-15 and 16PF, with full profile reports.
Airline batteries centre on the interactive modules: monitoring (keeping a count while objects drift), multitasking (arithmetic, pattern and hazard evasion on one clock), reaction speed, spatial orientation, and a flight-style tracking task. Numerical and deductive modules are often added for airline-specific screening stages.
The reasoning content trains modestly, but the interface familiarity trains enormously: the first minutes of a monitoring or multitasking module normally go to discovering the controls, and those minutes are scored like all the others. Practising the same kind of interface moves real points, which is why airline candidates prepare these batteries seriously.
No. Persona Prep is an independent practice platform with no connection to Aon. We rebuild the module formats — the interfaces, the pacing, the scoring logic — from scratch, so you can rehearse the demands without anyone reproducing the publisher's own items.
Airlines read results as percentiles against their own comparison groups, and thresholds differ by programme, so no universal pass mark exists. Our practice reports a 1–9 stanine band per module against candidates here, which tells you which module would drag your battery down before a selection board sees it.
Aon
Tests AON (cut-e)
AON ne fait pas passer un long test mais une série de modules courts et très rapides — et chacun punit une habitude différente. Entraînez-vous sur les mêmes formats, chronomètre compris, et sachez où vous vous situez avant le vrai passage.

Aon smartPredict
smartPredict invitations name modules, not subjects: gridChallenge, digitChallenge and their siblings. Train the two formats that decide most screenings — the deductive grid and the digit equation — exactly as they are played.
Aon
cut-e (Aon) assessment battery
cut-e is not one test — it is a set of very short, very fast interactive modules, and each one punishes a different habit. Practise them the way they are actually served.
Playable sample questions, worked solutions, instant feedback.
