Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between logical and verbal reasoning?
Verbal reasoning judges claims against a passage; logical reasoning judges what必follows from premises alone. The trap is the same in both: importing outside plausibility. The explanations here name it on every item.
Are logical reasoning tests hard?
They are unfamiliar more than hard. Most wrong answers come from reading speed and inference habits, both of which train in days. A practised candidate at the same raw ability routinely scores bands higher.
Which employers use logical reasoning tests?
Consulting, finance, tech and public-sector screening all lean on deductive formats — often inside a Hogan HBRI, SHL or cut-e battery. Training the format covers all of them at once.
Persona Prep is an independent practice platform with no connection to SHL, Hogan, Aon or any other test publisher. Items are originals reproducing assessment FORMATS only.
