Is this what the real pilot assessment looks like?
It is the same KIND of task: an interactive monitoring module where the skill is sustained counting under drift, not reaction speed. Airlines run several such modules — multitasking, reaction, spatial orientation, a flight-style tracking task — and interface familiarity is scored like ability on all of them.
Can you prepare for a pilot aptitude test?
Enormously — but only interactively. The scored first minutes of each module go to whoever already knows the interface. Reading about a monitoring task transfers nothing; holding one does. That is why this page plays the module instead of describing it.
